Ausschreibung 2027
Für das 17. SONOHR Radio & Podcast Festival vom 26. bis 28. Februar 2027 suchen wir audio-basierte künstlerische Arbeiten, Live-Performances und Audiowalks. Gesucht sind Projekte, die aktuelle Themen aufgreifen, klassische Audioformate eigenständig weiterdenken oder neue kreative Zugänge zu Audio, Radio und Podcast eröffnen.
Wir suchen:
- Narrative, innovative oder interaktive Live-Audio-Arbeiten, die ein erweitertes Hörerlebnis schaffen. Dazu zählen dokumentarische, fiktionale oder experimentelle Live-Performances, Live-Hörspiele, Audio- und Soundwalks, Live-Podcasts, partizipative Formate sowie weitere interdisziplinäre Audioformate.
- Produzierte narrative Kurzstücke (maximal 20 Minuten), die das Medium Audio künstlerisch ausloten und formal, inhaltlich, narrativ oder akustisch neue Wege gehen.
- Präsentationen narrativer, aufwändig produzierter fiktionaler oder journalistischer Audioproduktionen.
Formales:
- Du kannst neben fertigen Werken auch aussagekräftige und nachvollziehbar ausgearbeitete Projektskizzen und Konzepte einreichen. Auch gut dokumentierte Projekte, die bereits an anderen Orten durchgeführt wurden, sind willkommen.
- Wir präsentieren produzierte Stücke in der Regel im Stereoformat. Mehrkanal-, Surround- oder binaurale Formate sind nur in Ausnahmefällen möglich.
- Für ausgewählte Live- und Präsentationsprojekte übernehmen wir Auftrittshonorare, Unterkunft sowie die Reisekosten nach Bern. Ausgewählte Kurzstücke und Audioproduktionen werden mit einer Abspielpauschale honoriert.
- Bitte beachte, dass wir keine neuen Produktionen finanzieren können.
- Audioarbeiten auf Deutsch, Französisch oder Englisch kannst du ohne Transkript einreichen. Bestehende Transkripte – auch sinngemässe – sind jedoch willkommen. Arbeiten in anderen Sprachen benötigen eine englische oder deutsche Übersetzung bzw. Transkription.
- Die Korrespondenz erfolgt auf Deutsch, Französisch oder Englisch.

Call for works 2027
For the 17th SONOHR Radio & Podcast Festival from 26 to 28 February 2027, we are looking for audio-based artistic works, live performances, and audio walks. We are seeking projects that address current topics, independently rethink classic audio formats, or open up new creative approaches to audio, radio, and podcasting.
We are looking for:
- Narrative, innovative, or interactive live audio works that create an expanded listening experience. These include documentary, fictional, or experimental live performances, live audio dramas, audio and sound walks, live podcasts, participatory formats, and other interdisciplinary audio formats.
- Produced narrative short pieces (maximum 20 minutes) that artistically explore the audio medium and break new ground formally, thematically, narratively, or acoustically.
- Presentations of narrative, elaborately produced fictional or journalistic audio productions.
- In addition to completed works, you may also submit meaningful and clearly developed project outlines and concepts. Well-documented projects that have already been carried out elsewhere are also welcome.
- We generally present produced pieces in stereo format. Multichannel, surround, or binaural formats are only possible in exceptional cases.
- For selected live and presentation projects, we cover performance fees, accommodation, and travel expenses to Bern. Selected short pieces and audio productions are remunerated with a screening fee.
- Please note that we are unable to finance new productions.
- You may submit audio works in German, French, or English without a transcript. Existing transcripts—even approximate ones—are nevertheless welcome. Works in other languages require an English or German translation or transcription.
- Correspondence will be conducted in German, French, or English.
